Horace T. Diggs, son of the late William and Indiana Diggs was the second oldest of five siblings, born on April 5, 1930 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was educated through Baltimore, City school systems, He worked as a Merchant Seaman and on the B&O Railroad as a waiter at one point in his life. Among his many talents, was a self taught piano player who enjoyed playing the blues and the Boogie Woogie. He also enjoyed cooking meal for family and friends. One of his favorite quotes was ""We got the questions, but Jesus got the answers. Horace was one of those people who alway there in your time of need. He knew how to be a good friend. On Wednesday November 16, 2011, he went home to be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving sister Ann Brown, sister in law Dorothy Diggs, a devoted and loving Uncle Melvin Diggs, a special long time friend Anna, and nieces, nephews, family and friends.
