Horace Timmons the son of the late Bobby and Rosena Parker Timmons was born March 1, 1944 in Williamsburg County, SC. God called him home on May 28, 2012 after a long illness. He received his education from Rosemary High School in Andrews, SC. He went to North Carolina where he met his wife over 43 years to Edna Ward. After they united they decided to Baltimore, MD. baptized in the month of October 1987, at Revelation Baptist Church. His dedication to the Lord lead him to be a blessing to others by giving him the talent to sing in his gospel group called The Golden Angels. Horace Timmons was a dedicated provider and a man with many work skills. He worked in North Carolina with a logging company as a loader. While in Baltimore, MD. he held a position as supervisor in the powder coater department for Army Aircrafts Company for over 30 years until his retirement. Horace Timmons had a great loved for sports especially, The Baltimore Ravens and The Baltimore Orioles. His passion for family and children was express in many memorable ways from the smile on his face, to his helping hands, and his jokes of laughter's. Horace Timmons leave to cherish their loving memories; his wife, Edna Timmons, four children, Stevie Timmons Lynn, Roosevelt Carter, Rodney Timmons, Rashane Wilson, two godsons, BJ, Nana, seven grandchildren, one which preceded him in death, John Paxton Jr., Angel Timmons, Tiffany Timmons, Starr Timmons, Tamira Johnson, Ryheem, Lyawnne, five great-grand's, Diymon, Katydin, Aubree, Taiden, Taryn; nine siblings of which three preceded him in death, Willy Jo Parker, Rosa Alston, Roxcena Ramsey, he leaves two brothers and four sisters, James Brenda Timmons, Lee Anna Timmons, Lizzie Lathro Callum, Pearline Stokes, Carleatha Ellot Duncan, Joyce Frank Tucker, one adopted sister, Marilyn Thurman Gourdine, and nieces and nephew that were raise like brothers and sisters along with a host of relatives and friends.
