Howard Diggs departed his life on January 1, 2021 at the age of 81. He was born August 17, 1939 in Annapolis, MD. Son of Josephine Sye and Howard Diggs.

Howard was raised in Annapolis, MD and received his education in Annapolis MD at Bates High School. Howard had an interest in building, and became a construction worker at J W Bateson Construction Company at Sparrow Point.

Howard spent his life as a devoted husband and loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved to play baseball; his favorite team was the Orioles. He loved hunting and cooking

Howard was preceded in death by his ex-wife Brenda Blake, parents Josephine Sye and Howard Diggs Sr., daughter Cynthia Diggs, son John Diggs, 2 grandsons Rico Booth, Carlos Bridges, 1 granddaughter Johneise Sheppard, 2 sisters Marlene Chesnut and Geraldine Thomas.

He leaves to mourn: 1 brother Earl Thomas; 4 sisters, Cheryl Harris, Gwendolyn Hicks, Charlene Taylor, Lenora Taylor James; 3 step sisters, Ruthlee, Joyce Mullins and Elizabeth; 1 step brother, Robert Smith and 1 brother in law Timothy Mullins; children Patricia, Howard, Towanda, Shirley, Sandra, Kevin, Drake, Carla, Melissa, Devon, Kenneth, Keisha, Son-in-law Donte Kennedy, Kyle Bridges, Isaac Jones, Kevin Brown, 37 grand-children, 39 great grand-children and a host of relatives and friends.
