Howard Grover King, son of the lat Henry and Emma King was born on November 22, 1921 in Wade, North Carolina. He departed this life on June 25, 2012. He received his education in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Howard then moved to Durham, North Carolina, where he met his late wife, Nannie Mae King and out of this union seven children were born. In the late '60s they moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where he worked as a Cab Driver and retired as a Hardware Store Clerk. He was well known throughout the community for his outgoing attitude and great sense of humor. He made friends wherever he went and was taking care of by family and friends during the later years of his life. for those who truly knew him, they would say he was a true friend and family man. He loved the Lord and constantly you would hear him quoting Bible verses or listening to gospel music or videos. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Emma King; sister, Jessie; brothers, Henry, Leman, Leroy, Herman and Cleveland; daughters, Agnes, Debroah and Emma; and grandson, Howard King. Howard leaves to mourn; his sister, Helen; three daughters, Kimberly, Catonia and Carolyn; one son, Lamont; grandchildren, Nathaniel and wife Monique, Dana, Latoshia, Chanell, Alvin, Antwon, Pamela, Jeanetta, David and Jamael; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
