Howard Aloza Montgomery (known as Howie) was born December 6th, 1941. His earthly journey ended on March16th, 2021 to gain his eternal home in the care of Jesus. Of Howard's 8 siblings, he was the third child born to Albert and Dorothy Montgomery.
Howard received his Education in the Baltimore City School System. He spent many years employed with the Operation CHAMP Youth Program in Baltimore City.While employed, he received his Black Belt in Taekwondo martial arts.
Howard's daughters always ensured he was well taken care and loved. Howie had a special bond and closeness with his first cousin Margaret Lee; she was a blessing and support tohim. He also enjoyed his Zion Towers senior community where he had resided before his departure.
Howard had a good heart and spirit, he would help his family and friends, whenever he could. When you needed someone to talk with, he was a good listener and friend. Although he was a social person, he had a quiet manner about him. Howie enjoyed watching football games, western shows, and martial art movies until he became legally blind and even then, he enjoyed listening to his shows and movies. Howie's listening ability was as sharp as someone with 20/20 vision. He enjoyed and loved his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
Proceeding him in death are Albert and Dorothy Montgomery (parents); Joseph Mack Montgomery (son); Arielle (Argie) Payne (granddaughter);Raymond, Charles, Albert, and Andrew Montgomery (brothers) and Gwendolyn Montgomery (sister).
Howard leaves to remember him with love and sweet memories: Saundra Jordan and Shirleen Montgomery (sisters); Joan and Shirley Montgomery (sisters-in-law).Two living adult daughters with his former spouse Barbara Pender: Kathy Alford and Betsy Montgomery.
Grandchildren: Darrell Jordan-Alford, Jerrod Alford, Arnold Payne, Brittany Payne, and Markiesha Young.
Great grandchildren: Rihley Armoni, Caiden Autumn, Janae Amber, Janiah Autumn, Jaylah Skylar Joe-Ann, Jerrod Jr. (Zechariah), and McCayla Amari. And host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
