Ida Rene Turner, daughter of the late Mike and Essie Turner, was born on November 9, 1935 and departed this life on July 12, 2007. During her youth she attended Reynolds Georgia High School, where she was a member of the track and basketball teams. She attended Whitehill Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir. Anyone who heard her sing was a member of the choir. Anyone who heard her sing was most definitely in for a joyful treat. Preceded in death by the following Turner siblings: W.M. Eulacy, L.B. Jack, Fountain and Eugene Henderson. Preceded in death one child: Paulette Lewis; she leaves to mourn: 2 sisters Virginia Lundy and Doris Wright; 2 children; Andrew Hosley, Aretha Parker, 10 grandchildren; Irving, Asia, Monique, Teasha, Lisa, Andrew Jr.; Marla, Shankia; Anthony, Michael; 15 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchildren, a dearest niece, Vondra Turner and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.
