Ira James Dunaway Jr. (Boobie), son of Viola Dunaway and the late Ira
Dunaway Sr., was born November 9, 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland. He
departed this life on Sunday, April 15,2018.

Ira was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. He
received an Associate's Degree in Science from Genesse Community
College in New York, and also a Bachelor's Degree in Science from
the Canisus College in Buffalo, NY.

Ira married the love of his life, Jeanette Clash on August 25, 1991.

His working career spanned 23 years, as Ira was employed at Douron,
where he was well liked and respected.

Ira was a man of few words, and deep thoughts, but when he spoke,
people listened and took heed to his words. His favorite activities were
watching football and enjoying his Colt 45!

Ira has transitioned to join his family members who preceded him
in death, his father, Ira Dunaway Sr., brother, Larry Dunaway, and
sister Paulette Dunaway.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: his wife, Jeanette Clash
Dunaway; son, Ira James Dunaway; mother, Viola Dunaway;
three sisters, Yvonne Clark, Roslyn Dunaway, and Shannon
Dunaway; grandchild, Kira Dunaway; two brother-in-laws,
five sister-in laws; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,
and other relatives and friends.
