Ira Robert Mister Jr., was born in Baltimore , Mar y land onSeptember 22, 1958 to Emil y Bridges and the late Ira R. Mister Sr. He departed this life after a lengthy illness on September 5 , 2016 .
Ira affectionately called Robbie by his family and friends, was the second of five children born to Emily and Ira and the only brother among four sisters. Robbie was educated in Baltimore City Public Schools. He was a lo v er of all things involving music, records, stereo equipment and DJing. He loved laughing and joking and always came up with funny nicknames to give all he encountered. He also enjoyed a good meal his favorite being Maryland crab - cakes. Robbie was good with his hands and was excellent at doing home improvements, rehabs and anything involving home contracting and was a longtime employee of Harbor Court Hotel .
Ira was preceded in death by his father the late Ira Sr.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his long-time compan ion Joan; Mother, Emily; Step - father, Willie; Grand-Mother, Isabelle; Children , Cheraya , Juwan, Shemar , Ira, Antoine, Dominick, Danielle , and Amanda; Sisters , Sharon, Robin " Linda ", Carol , Maria; several Grand Children , two Uncles, our Aunts, Cousins, and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
