Ira Marcelis S mi th entered into eternal rest on the morning of August
27, 2017. Ira was born on July 2, 1977. He was the son of William

Melvin Smith and the late Edith Celestine Bailey.

Ira received his education in the Baltimore City School System. He
graduated from Walbrook Senior High School class of 1995. Ira loved
sports, cooking on the grill, hanging with his friends and eating. If you
ever needed lessons on how to clean a chicken bone he was your man.

Ira known as Big Ira, Goose, or Heavy was loved by everyone. He had a
spirit that would warm your heart. He loved his family and friends. He
was a protector of many especially his baby girl Celestine whom he
adored. He was very proud of her accomplishments. He will truly be
missed.

Ira leaves to cherish his memory: his father, William Melvin Smith; his
daughter, Celestine Smith; four brothers, William (Melvin), Dayvon,
Dominique and Travon; one sister, Nicole Smith; grandmother, Geral-
dine Bailey; seven uncles, Frank Sr., Michael, Gregory, Don, Kevin,
Larry and Jessie; six aunts, Patricia, Rosalee, Evelyn, Stephanie, Susie
and Tammy; two nieces, Sanea and Pheonix; two nephews, Courtney Jr.
