Irvin Lee Briscoe, Sr., son of the late Mazie Briscoe and Fred Jackson
was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 14, 1950. He departed this life
on July 14,2018 at his residence.

He received his education in Baltimore City Public Schools. After leaving
school, he attended Job Corps. He also enlisted in the Maryland Army
National Guard. Irvin was employed at Maryland General Hospital for
twenty-three years. In 1969, he married Lena Richardson and from this
union, one child was born.

Irvin was well liked and had a great sense of humor. He was always
willing to give a helping hand. He enjoyed all types of music and loved to
sing. Irvin also loved spending time watching movies, tv shows, cooking,
and sports. He was an outstanding athlete. His two favorite sports were
baseball and football. His proudest moments were watching his grandson
win a State Championship Football title and seeing his granddaughter
play softball.

He leaves to cherish his memory: devoted son, Irvin L. Briscoe Jr. and
wife Dawn; three sisters, Etta Briscoe, Deloris Johnson, Alice "Cookie"
Hannah; two grandchildren, Irvin L. "Tre" Briscoe III, and Lalah S.
Briscoe, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
