Irvin Earl Nore Sr.. son of the late Susie Johnson and Irvin Nore departed this life on Thursday July 18. 2013. Irvin, who was affectionately known to family and friends as "Dottie", was born on January 25, 1931 in Baltimore Maryland. Irvin received his education in the Baltimore Public School system. In 1950, Irvin joined the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1954. He later met and married the love of his life, the late Gloria Nore. From that union they were blessed with five children. Irvin worked for Robinson Department Store in Glen Burnie for many years. He was later employed with Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) where he retired after 35 years. After retirement, Irvin focused on his passion for carpentry. Irvin was a faithful member of Christian Memorial Church. Irvin loved spending time with family and friends. For over 60 years he bowled on different leagues and enjoyed Duck Pins where he received many awards and trophies. Irvin also enjoyed playing cards as one of his favorite pass times. His passion for playing cards led him to meet his companion the late Mary (Madeline) Harris. From that union they had two sons. Irvin will rest in Eternal Peace with his two children Karen and Patrick Nore. He had a caring and giving spirit, he will be missed by all. He leaves to cherish his loving memory five children Deborah Pride, Patricia Nore, Carolyn Shackleford, Irvin Nore Jr., Jason Nore, one Son-In-Law Johnnie Shackleford, one Daughter-In-Law Audrey Nore, one brother Vernon Johnson, one sister Celestine Thomas, two sister-In-Laws Frances Johnson and Sandra Watters, 10 grandchildren, 11 ^great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
