Irvin Aquilla Simms was born to the late Clarence and Elizabeth Simms in Calvert County, Maryland on May 4, 1938. He quietly departed this life on June 27, 2010. He was educated in his early years in Calvert County, Maryland. Later he moved on to finish his education in Baltimore, Maryland. Irvin loved cars, and one of his first jobs was with Fox Chevrolet, driving cars from one lot to another. He married Margaret Williams and from this union four children were born, Irvin, virgil, Carl and Bernadette Bunny. Irvin worked numerous jobs finally landing at Harbison-Walker General Refactories from which he later retired. Irvin embraced the Lord and was a faithful member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. Irvin loved people and was especially proud of his sons and daughters. Through the years he met and had lots of friends. the ones who visited him often was his buddy Al and faithful loving cousin Juior Hicks. When his illness cvercame him he was comforted by his daughter bernadett Bunny sho stayed by his side. He leaves to mourn; two sons, Virgil and Carl; two daughters Bernadette Simms-Wragg and Sherese Baynes; grandsons, Paul, Audrey, Michael, Malik and Nickoli; granddaughters, Renika, tynn and Zion and several nieces and nephews; aunts Peggy from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ad Stacy from Calvert county, Maryland; a devoted friend, Sylvia Morgan and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
