ISAIAH LEVIAN BROWN departed this life on October 13, 2015.
The eldest son of seven children, Ike was born on January 14, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland to Roland A Brown, Sr. and Grace A. Johnson Brown.
After graduating from Carver High School in 1947, Ike enlisted in the United States Army from 1947-1950 where he served as a Medic. While serving in the Army he was selected as All Army for his outstanding football achievements. He served hts country honorably. He worked for the United States Post Office from 1958 and retired in 1988.
He loved cooking and everyone always looked forward to an excellent meal from Ike. He was a member of Ebenezer AME Church as a child.He attended New Psalmist noon day service on a regular basis with his wife I Teena. He also had a love for traveling to Atlantic City with his family as well as going to the race track.
Proceeding him in death is his sister Gloria Comegys, and brother Allen Brown, brothers in law Clarence Copeland, Robert Garrett and Donald Rice.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 44 years, Eulastine Brown,daughters, Sherry, Shelley (deceased), Paula (deceased), Donna, Lisa, and Angela. Son in law Brian Hall. Granddaughters Monae, Ashleigh, Marcia and Shelly. Grandsons, Eric, Darrell, Darian, and Matthew. Sisters Ruth Garrett and Grace Copeland. Brothers RolandA Brown Jr,and George Brown. Sisters in law Angela Cheatham, Hedy Brown. Brother in . law Howard (Lester) Rice and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was considerate, helpful and understanding, and people naturally gravitated to him. He was strong in his convictions and had no difficulty in expressing them. He enjoyed family, friends and life; and his strength of character and caring is his legacy for those who knew and loved him. He will be missed. Memorial Service Joseph H. Brown Jr. Funeral Home
