Jacqueline Prescott-Austin, daughter, mother, sister, friend, was born February 18, 1956 in Bishopville South Carolina, Jackie was a gift to the world from her loving parents, Ruth & the late Willie Prescott Jr. After a lengthy illness, she was called home on March 6th, 2011. She was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools, where she attended Walbrook Sr. High. She furthered her education at A.C.T. Advanced Career Training School for Data Enry and received additional trainig as an Administrative Assistant. In 1974 she began a family with Paul L. Austin Jr, although they separted, the bond of family and friendship always remained between them. Jackie had a loving personality. She always had an open home and heart for everyone. There was no one in need that she would not help. She was a devoted and sacrificing wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother Ruth Prescott, husband & friend Paul Austin Jr. brother Leonard Prescott, two sons Donel & Corey Austin, a step daughter Trina Austin-garrison, four grandchildren Paul Hanley III, Dominic Thompson, Donya Austin & Christian Austin, two great grandchildren, Kyree & Kelsie Hanley, three aunts Rosa B. Jackson, Gene Porter, Patricia Prescott-Stevens and Joyce Byrd, three uncles James Frasier, Carrol Stevens and Thomas Porter, special friends/sister Sharon Penny, Jesse, Sean, Tiffany & Dana Galloway and a host of nieces, nephews, great friends & extended family.
