Jacqueline Bernice "Jackie" Wyche peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. 
Jackie was born on September 9, 1944, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Doris Cobbs and Clyde Dixon. From an early age, she carried a spirit of strength, warmth, and determination that would define the beautiful life she lived.

She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Joe Wyche, and together they raised two wonderful daughters, Eulelia Wyche and Michele Wyche. She was also a proud grandmother to Jakita Gillus and a cherished great-grandmother to Tyjanae Simmons, who brought her endless joy and pride.

She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Doris Cobbs, her father, Clyde Dixon, her beloved daughter, Michele Wyche, her devoted husband, Joe Wyche, and her dear grandmother, Dorothy Barnes.

In her early life, Jackie attended Baltimore City Public Schools and later attended Eastern High School, where she built the foundation of the strong, determined, and compassionate woman she would become.

For more than 30 years, Jackie faithfully served as a Supervisor at Becton Dickinson, where she was admired for her dedication, leadership, and strong work ethic. She approached every responsibility with integrity and compassion, leaving a lasting impression on those who worked alongside her.

Known affectionately as "Jackie," she was a loving woman whose warm smile, joyful laughter, and gentle spirit brightened every room. She was a source of encouragement and support, not only to her family but also to friends and neighbors who came to know her as a mother and grandmother figure.

Jackie also found joy in music, especially the soulful sounds of The Isley Brothers. One of her favorite songs, “Footsteps in the Dark,” held a special place in her heart and reflected the calm, reflective spirit she often carried.

Jackie will be remembered for her generosity, strength, and the unconditional love she shared so freely. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the hearts of her daughter, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, extended family, dear friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
