Jakuan Gregory Daniel Anthony Merchant born on March
8th, 1983 to Candice Mayrant and Gregory Merchant in the
Bronx, NY. Candice later met Jose Santana where they moved
to Baltimore, MD to raise Kuan. Kuan would go on to attend
Patapsco High School Center for the Arts where he would
meet a host of life long friends and Shantelle Johnson to later
becoming the mother to his only child.

Jakuan was a fighter. He has overcame so many obstacles in
his life since birth. When people said he couldn't, he made it
a goal to say he could. When they said he wouldn't live past 9
he survived 35 years. When they said he wouldn't walk he not
only walked but learned to drive a vehicle. When they said that
he wouldn't have children he leaves the replica of himself his
14 year old son Nykuan Gregory Ni'air Merchant.

Jakuan attended the Community College of Baltimore County
and took courses to receive his associate's degrees in business.
Jakuan was the opitomy of the saying" jack of all trades". He
has worked on cars, computers and rebuilding mobile devices
but rapping was his passion. Kuan was such a talented and
intelligent individual. Jakuan maintained a normal although his
health was slowly deteriorating. Jakuan lived for every minute
and tried to be the best father, son, brother and bestfriend he
could be.
