Obituary

Jamar Darante Roberson lovingly known as Sim6a was born July 1, 1989, to Trema Lawrence and
Oashimar Roberson in Baltimore, Maryland. Simba transitioned to his heavenly home on July 2, 2022, after
celebrating his 33" birthday.
Jamar was baptized at Unity Baptist Church at an early age and for a brief while he practiced Islamic faith. He
attended Baltimore City public schools and graduated from Digital Harbor High School where he played on the
Wrestling and swim team. His higher learning included Anne Arundel Community College and STRIVE
Baltimore Employment Services where he received a certificate in Intense Career Development Training.
Jamar was a proud dependable and reliable hard worker. He earned several certifications in which he proudly
spoke of, and they were for Youth Challenge, Effective Parenting and Life Skills, Computer and Microsoft Word
Training, Comprehensive Re-Entry Training Program for Adults, Personal Assessment and Career Exploration,
OSHA, Carpentry and Building Science. Furthermore, he received Outstanding Recognition for Personal
Achievement in the Field, where he was currently employed as a driver for the Amazon Distribution Center. He
worked in housekeeping for Pritchard Sports and Entertainments, McDonald's as a Crew Member, and Second
Chance where he loved his deconstruction jobs and traveling to different cities.
Simba lived life to the fullest every day, he loved himself and was always taking photos and recording videos
documenting his life. He was fun to be around, loved to dance and enjoyed hanging down Fells Point with friends
and family. He was no stranger to anyone; he was fearless and made himself known to everyone. Jamar
supported and attended all the family gatherings, he liked sports, boxing, and fitness, we all got to see him flex his
muscles. He like to cook and proudly showed his meals on social media. He was always highly fashionable, and
well groomed. He had the finesse to get into places and access to anyone he wanted to be around. Effortlessly he
could associate himself with celebrities, politicians or whoever and get them to take a picture with him or share in
a conversation. Jamar was a rare gem, with an infectious spirit and good vibes, he will be sorely missed.
Jamar has linked back up with the following family members: his brother, De 'Andre Crawford. Great
Grandmothers, Elizabeth Stone and Muriel Pinder, Great Grandfather, Bernard Pinder; Grandfather, James
