James Edward Jackson JIMMY, beloved son of the late Rev. James D. Jackson Sr., and the late Anna W. Parker, was born on November 12, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, December 15, 2007, after a lengthy illness. Jimmy was baptized at an early age and later joined the Greater Faith Community Church. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System and graduated from Paul Lawrence Dunbar Sr. High in 1968. Over the years, Jimmy held many positons of employment, one of which was with the family moving and trucking business. Several years ago, Jimmy began his own entrepreneurial-ship selling body oils and movies. In 1976, Jimmy was united in holy matrimony to the former Ms. Dale M. Glover. This union was blessed with two sons. Their eldest son, William Jackson, preceded him in death. Jimmy was a fun loving person, who always spoke what was on his mind. Along with shopping and watching movies at home, he also enjoyed listening to ''Oldies but goodies'' music. He was especially fond of the O'Jays and the Whispers. Those who will cherish his loving memory include: two children, Antonio L. Jackson Sr. and Jenine L. Jackson; one daughter-in-law, Deondra L. Jackson; one ''special'' step daughter, Angela Gardner-Johnson; seven grandchildren, Antonio Jr., DeAndre, Antoine, Latia, DaVon, Daquan and Trania; five step-grandchildren, Jonathan, Tranay, Brittney, Dana, Jr. and Tiffany; three great grandchildren, DeZyiah, Serenity and Antoine, Jr., three brothers, George Plowden, Rev. James Jackson Jr. and John Jackson; two sisters, Evangelist Glenice Harris and Darlene Jones; three sisters-in-law, Lucy Plowden, Sallie Jackson and JoAnn Fortune; four brothers-in-law, Wendell Harris, Gardell Glover, David Glover and William Glover; one god son, Quennell Sowers; a special and devoted friend, Darlene Williams; and a host of aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.
