John Alfred Gray, affectionately known as Knuckles, was born May 15, 1956 in Prince George County, MD. He was called home to be with the Lord July 6, 2007. Knuckles was precded in death by his parents John Alfred, and Ruth Alberta Gray. Four brothers George Edward Cap, Julius Carlton Punk, John Charles John Boy, & William francis Gay, Gray. Two sisters Virginia Anna Sutton, and Ruth Alberta Gray. James Knuckles was educated in the Baltimore City School System. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy where he received an Honorable Discharge. James Knuckles worked in various capacities throughout Baltimore City and the surrounding countries, but his passion was playing alll types of sports, and singing old songs. Especially the Temptations. James Knuckles made friends wherever he went and was loved by all. He leaves to cherished his memory, his wife of 22 years, Mrs. Gena Solomon-Gray, one son James Alfred Gray, Jr. JR, one grandchild Jah-Brea A. Gray; three brothers, Timothy M. Robert V, and Ronald W. Gray; two sisters, Julia Scovens, and Alice Gray-Parker; ten sisters-in-law, Stella, Maxine, Michelle, Lucille and Rosa Lee Gray, Celestine and Vivian Solomon, Windell Whitten, Abbey Washinton and Evelyn Gibson; five brothers-in-law, Robert Scrovens, Jerome Parker, Gerald, George and Norman Solomon; two uncles , Charles and Earl Adams; six aunts, Catherine,Sarah, Odell, Mary, Anna, and Yvonne Adams. Also numerous nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
