James E. Griggs, son of Mary E. Griggs and the late James F. Griggs was born on February 18, 1964 in Baltimore Maryland. He departed this life on February 14, 2013. James received his education at South Western Senior High School in Baltimore. James made numerous friends wherever he went and will be sin-cerely missed by everyone who knew him. He was always a true friend and a devoted father. James truly loved his family. James leaves to mourn: two daughters, Patrice Triecie Perry and Nyshe Ninette Hampton; mother, Mary Ellen Griggs; his brother, Andrew Couser; his sisters, Lynn Griggs, Vanessa Griggs, Adrian Couser and Crystal Griggs; his life long friend, Dorothy Green; aunts, Margaret Tucker, Claudine Randall, Pom Butler, Alice Bell, Tina Butler and Mildred Hairston; uncles, Joe Lewis Butler, Wayne Butler and Michael Butler; great uncle, Joseph Butler; two grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and best friend, Lenard Boo.
