James Howard Arrington was born August 16, 1948 to the late Elinora and Edward Arrington in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. His family relocated to Baltimore. Maryland during his early childhood. He departed this life on September 14. 2016 after a lengthy illness.

James affectionately known as Howard received his education in Baltimore City Public Schools .

James Howard met the love of his life Dorothy Mosley in 1967 whom he wed in 1970. From this union Chirello and Jamm'i were born.

James Howard began his career inI9()9 working for Baltimore City Recreations and Parks where he would later retire after 34 years.

James Howard was a dedicated Baltimore Ravens and Orioles fan. He never missed a game. He loved to have fun and listen to music: his favorite album was Phoenix Rises by the Temptations. Howard was a very special person filled with love and family was EVERYTHING to him! His wife. children and grandchildren were his world.
