James "Junie" Andrew Jackson, Jr., son of the late James Andrew Jackson, Sr. and Annie Marie Jackson was born January 3, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on July 25, 2014 after a lengthy illness. He received his education at Edmondson High School in Baltimore. He enlisted in the Maryland National Guard in 1972. James was employed at Bethlehem Steel and then Maryland Cup. He was a member of Fulton Baptist Church. On August 15,1970 he married Estella Brinkley, and from their union two children were born, Tamara and James. James made friends wherever he went and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He enjoyed listening to music, dancing and will always be known for being one of the best dressed. He leaves to mourn: his mother, Annie Marie Jackson; wife, Estella B. Jackson; one daughter, Tamara N. Harvey; one son, James A. Jackson, III; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Janell Harvey; five sisters, Barbara Willingham, Leatrice Ayres, Rowena Lansey, Sharon Jeffries, and Angela Kilson; one step brother, James Samuels; a son-in-law, Jonathan Harvey, Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Jacquetta Jackson; one brother-in-law, Tyrone Jeffries; five sisters-in-law; Sarah Samuels, Yvonne Moulton, Janet Sharps, Venida Brinkley-Puryear; and Lois Brinkley; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
