James Edward Jackson, Jr., quietly departed this life on January 18,2015 at North West Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on August 31, 1948 to the late James Edward Jackson, Sr. and the late Theo Manigault. James at- tended East High School in Youngstown and had a host of friends. James was kind hearted, family oriented man who was appreciated and loved by all who met him. James moved to Richmond, VA and was a diligent employee of Roanoke Cement Company for 31 years. James was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Jackson, Sr. and mother, Theo Manigault; brother, Ronald Henderson; two sons, James Edward Jackson Ill, (Squirt), and Marlon Cooke. James leaves to cherish his memory: a loving wife, Patricia Jackson; a daughter, Jenean Jackson-Orr of Jacksonville, FL; 2 sons, Jayron Jackson and Andre Cooke; 2 siblings, Melvy Strougn of Youngstown, OH and Ed Jackson of Little Rock, AR; 10 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and a host of relatives andfriends that love him and will miss him dearly.
