On January 13, 2021, God decided JAMES C. JOHNSON (affectionately known as Jamel or Jr.) had completed his Earthly mission and called him to his heavenly home. Jamel was born on January 9, 1981, the second born child to Jamel and Delores Johnson. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School system.

Jamel's childhood was one of normalcy as he was charismatic from the very beginning. He enjoyed making others laugh. You could count on him for a good joke or an ice breaker in any social setting. Jamel loved playing sports as a child, then watched them as an adult. His favorite team was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Jamel was employed with the Baltimore City Department of Public Works for nine years. He was also skilled in roof repair for the remainder of his life. Juinor lived to love and loved to live.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jamel Johnson, nephew, Jamel Taylor, grandfather, Stanley Gardner, Sr., uncles, Roderick, Jerome and Don Gardner, aunts, Paula and Regina

leaving to mourn his Earthy loss, is his mother, Delores Johnson, grandmother, Dolores Gardner, sister Fadisha (Robert), sons, Jamel (mom Tameka), Dylan and Drake (mom Danyelle), nieces, Jada and Madison, uncle, Stanley Jr., aunts, Marlene (Nuchie), Cecelia, Bernadette (Ray), Veronica, Michelle (leamon), Vernell and Kimberly (Jackson), along with a host of other relatives and friends.
