James Ricardo Knight Sr., son of the late Louise Parker and Claude Knight Sr. was born July 29, 1959, in Halifax County, North Carolina. He was one of three children. On December 30, 2024, God noticed an empty place in His garden, so He sent His angels to bring James home to be with him to spend eternal life.

James R. Knight accepted the Lord as his savior and gave his life to Christ. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. James was a dedicated employee of Corporate Mailing Services Inc. from which he retired after many loyal years of service. He loved spending quality time with his family in North Carolina and Baltimore. Every morning you could find James at McDonalds eating his breakfast then after breakfast he would make his way to his special place, the Thrift Store!

He was preceded in death by his mother Louise Parker, father Claude Knight Sr. one sister Gwendolyn Knight, one brother Claude Knight Jr.

Those left forever his precious memories his loving wife of 42 years Mary Johnson- Knight of Baltimore, MD, one son James R. Knight Jr. of Baltimore, MD, two daughters Kiara and Courtney Knight of Baltimore, MD stepson William Baynard brother Felix Harrell of Baltimore, MD one sister Towanda Knight of Harford County, MD, two nieces Chanda Boone and Simone Austin, three great nephews Marvin Thomas, Kasean.
