JamesLindsey Wilson,Sr.son of the late James A. and Maggie B.Nance Wilson was born on August12, 1940 in Chester South Carolina . He departed this lifesuddenly on June11, 2020.
James or Jimmyashe was also knownasreceived his education through theChester County Public School System.
Hemoved to Baltimore, Maryland at the age of19.James was a foreman for Ezrine Auto Shop and later forMr.Tire. Later he drove a cab for Diamond Cab Company.
James loved the ladies and would help anyone in need.Heliked to tell stories of his hay days to get a laugh or two. Some of his neighbors wouldsay,"Mr.Wilson is that true?"Inhis later years, his hanging partners were two of his grandsonsJason and Justin.Jase says PopPop taught him to be a man. They do and did love their grandfather very much.
James was preceded in death by three sons: Charles, Stephan and John; a daughter- Charlanda; six brothers- Joseph, Starr, LeVern, and Slyvester Mayfield; Moses and Howard Wilson; two sisters- Wilma Wilson and Coralee Hayles; and one grandson- Jawan Goode.
Heleaves to cherish his memory, four;sons: JamesL.Wilson,Jr.of NorthCarolina , Boyce Goode of Virginia,and Michael Williams of Baltimore,Maryland. Two daughters:CharlandaShephrd (Jerome)of North Carolina;and Janice ; Wilson of Baltimore.Two brothers: Woodrow Mayfield of, Baltimore, Maryland and Melvin Wilson, of North Carolina; one sister-in-law:Faye Wilson of Baltimore, Maryland;15grandchildren;11greatgrandchildren,nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
