Today we come to celebrate the life of James Lomax, beloved son of Joyce
Coleman and James Lomax Sr. He was born on September 8, 1974 in
Baltimore, MD. James was affectionately known as Meshach by his family
and friends. He departed his life unexpectedly on May 4,2019.
Meshach received his education through Baltimore City Public schools. He
attended Goodwill Industries Training Center where he received an Electri-
cian Certification. He was known for his smile and his straightforward,
honest, and tell it like it is personality. He loved his family and friends. He
was about loyalty and unity. Growing up, Meshach loved to laugh and
wrestle. He was wise beyond his years.
He is preceded in death by his father James Lomax Sr., grandparents
Fredrick and Mary Jane Walton, James and Dorothy Lomax, and uncles
Charles Davis and Ronnie Walton.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Joyce Coleman; two
beautiful daughters, Denera Lomax and Dynesha Moore; granddaughter,
Samaj Lomax; brothers, Keith Walton, Damon and Reginald Golder,
James, Ahnwan, Antwan, and Kaquib Lomax; sisters, Michelle Branch,
Dorothy Joyner, Juaneen and Angelisa Lomax; special cousinlbrother
Charles Davis; aunts, Cynthia Hurt, Mary Walton, Deborah Crawford,
Alisa, Gail, and Sharon Lomax; uncles Anthony, Kelvin, Ronnie Walton,
Donnie Walton, Ethan, Emanuel, Larry, Vernon Lomax and a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will cherish his memory.
