James Edward Per ry Jr., son of James Edward Perry and the late Brenda Dorsey-
Holly who preceded him in death, was born on June 16, 1964 in Baltimore,
Maryland. James departed this life on Saturday, July 7, 2018 after a lengthy battle
with Multiple Myeloma.

He received his high school diploma from Walbrook High School in the Baltimore
City Public School System. After high school Ode as he was affectionately called
by those that loved him, worked for various companies such as Tennax Service and
The Royal Farms Arena.

Ode was athletic, competitive, intelligent and strong. Ode loved both western and
gangster movies, swimming horse back riding, roller skating and fireball candy.
Ode was a very caring, thoughtful and considerate man. Ode's friendships have
spanned throughout his lifetime.

James leaves behind to cherish his memory: his father, James E. Perry; one son,
Malik J. Perry; one brother, Kevin Dorsey; one sister, Dorothy Dorsey-Clark;
brother-in-law, Rodney Clark; two aunts, Paula Robinson and Lavonne Butts; four
uncles, John Baker, Brian Baker, Stanley Dorsey and Kelly Dorsey-Bey; devoted
life partner, Lillian Dinkins; special loved ones, Patricia, Jeffrey and Khaleel
