Obituary

James Kenneth Scott Simms son of Angela Moore and James Harry Simms Sr. was born on December 26, 1999 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed his life on December 28, 2020 suddenly.



Kenny as he was affectionately called received his education in Baltimore City and Baltimore County School System. After completing his education Kenny became a Jr. electrical assistant under the careful and watchful eye of his cousin/godfather Thomas Simms who preceded him in death.



One of the most recent excitement in Kenny's life was the awaiting of his unborn child by his faithful and devoted longtime girlfriend Ikeherra Fenwick.



Kenny leaves to mourn: his mother, Angela Moore (Anitra Blue); father, James H. Simms Sr., grandmother, Floria L. Phifer (Kenneth Countee); godmother, Margaret Simms (Thomas Simms); five aunts, Evelyn Higgins, Barbara Reid, Ruth Washington, Deborah D. Phifer (Emanual Muse) and Denee V. Phifer; three uncles, Mark Countee, Robert M. Phifer (preceded in death) and Charles M. Phifer Jr. (preceded in death); two great uncles, James A. Moore of Baltimore and Myles N. Moore (preceded in death) his sisters, Jammye Simms (Jerrod Prescott Sr.) preceded in death, Shante Newman (Marcellus Garrison), Joann Jones (Fredrick Jones) Catherine Avery (Andre Avery); his brothers, Allen Kelly (Brandon Lewis), Anthony Coates, Keven Coates, Edward Coates, Bryan Simms, James H. Simms Jr. (preceded in death) and George Simms; two sisters preceded him in death, Vanessa Simms and Paulette Simms and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
