James Milton Smith, Jr. fondly known as " Jimmy " the beloved son of the late Ruth Hill and James Milton Smith, Sr. was born on June 4, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland. Jimmy went home to be with the Lord on November 12, 2012, after a lengthy illness. Jimmy received his education in Baltimore, Maryland in the Baltimore City School system. He was employed in the construction industry. At an early age, Jimmy realized he had a " special " gift, the gift of singing. He loved to sing more than anything. His love for music continued to grow which enables him to sing anywhere. Besides his singing ability, he could also make the drums talk to you! He was a " mean " drummer " and played the drums at his church for many years. Jimmy gave his life to Christ while going through " his " storms. He joined the Agape House Ministry in 2002, where he often displayed his love for the Lord. He was very loving, caring and unselfish, always giving of himself and never asking for anything in return. He had a very " kind "" spirit and could make friends anywhere he went. Although Jimmy was never married, he was blessed to have had two very special relationships that brought fourth four children that he loved unconditionally. Preceding him in death were two brothers, Micheal and Sean. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving children, James III, Charlette, Jekia, and Nekia: his brothers, James, Ronnie, Maurice and Carlos: his sisters, Portia, Paulette, Ann.
