James Earl Smith Jr. (Pumpkin),
was born October 31, 1980 to
James Earl Smith Sf. and Lenora Ann Smith in Baltimore, Maryland. He
departed his life on June 9, 2016.
James, affectionately known as Pumpkin, received his education in the
Baltimore City Public School System. He was raised in Flag House
Projects which he always "REPRESENTED". Flag House brought life-
long friendships.
Pumpkin was loved by everyone who knew him. He never had any
enemies. God gave Pumpkin a heart to love and everything that God
gave to him he gave to others. Pumpkin was a forever faithful friend who
loved family. He shares an unbreakable bond that is so very special that
not even death can separate him from his sister Tonya. Family is what he
always put first, his parents, cousins, uncles, aunts, but most importantly,
his pride and joy, his one and only gift from God, his daughter Summer
Ann Smith.
He was survived by his longtime girlfriend, Charissa Knight for 8 years
out of this union was one child, the love of his life, Summer Ann Smith.
He leaves to mourn: his mother, Lenora Smith; his father, James Smith
Sr.; his sister, Tonya Smith; his nephew, Tyrone Price; his loving niece,
Jordan Jackson; two great nephews, TyShawn and TyQuan Price; three
stepdaughters, Miki, Maya and Solei; one grandmother, Edna Terry;
aunts, uncles, and Alex Bennett his cousin. His extended family the
Horton's and a host of cousins, and friends who are life brothers and
sisters.
