James Lee Walker, the son of the late Thomas Walker and
the late Irene Canty, was born on August 29, 1954 in
Manning, South Carolina. After a brief illness, he went home
to be with the Lord on August 18, 2018. He was
surrounded by his loving family.

James received his formal education from Polytechnic High
School in Baltimore City in 1971. Shortly after his graduation
he enlisted in the United States Marines, where he served his
country for four years. After his honorable discharge, he attended
Baltimore City Community College where he received his
AA Certificate for Electronic Technician. He was later employed
by the Internal Revenue ·Service for the state of Maryland. he was
an exemplary employee until retirement.

James was blessed with two beautiful children. From his marriage
to Linda Walker, who preceded him in death, his daughter Keisha
was born. From his former wife Veronica Walker, James W. Jr.
entered his life.

We will always remember James Lee as someone who loved his
family and kept everyone laughing! He was also known for speaking
his mind whether you agreed or not. Most of us knew not to even
get upset, because we were all use to it! During his final weeks he
was cracking jokes he will be greatly missedl!l

family came together in prayer to rededicate their lives to Christ.
Thoughhe had very little strength, James reached up and grabbed
my hand as a sign of coming into agreement with me and the
family that he too was rededicating his life to Christ! We are
satisfied to know that he isresting comfortably and happily
with Jesus! Amen!"

James leaves to cherish fond memories: daughter Keisha Wade
(Thaddeus) their children, Shatyra, Candice and Thaddeus II;
son, J.W. James Walker Jr. (Kiara) their children, Audrina and
Lamar;two great grands; devoted friend, Janice; former wife,
Veronica Walker;four brothers, Leroy, Verline, Alphonzo and
Lawrence; three sisters,J ervine, Patricia and Antoinette; his
cousin, Mr. Julian Georgia and a host of other relatives and friends.
