James Wise, born June 29, 1943 to Cecilia Carter and James Wise Sr. He obtained his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools. He worked as a dental technician for some years. He also worked for Baltimore City's Department of Public works. Wise, as his friends knew him, had two brothers Bill and Paul Wise, one daughter Markina Wise, and stepdaughter Mary Mickens who preceded him in death. He leaves behind to mourn him; two sons, James Anthony and Marvin Wise; sister-in-law, Joanna Wise; cousin, Priest Wise; his life long companion of thirty - two years, Lillie Mickens and hr children Daniel, Rosalyn, Douglass, Dapheen and Sonia; as well as a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He has numerous friends and other family members that will miss him dearly.
