James Wright, was born to the late James Wright Sr. and Clarice Wright (Thomas) on August 8, 1938. He departed this life on September 12, 2014 after a lengthy illness. James received his education in Norfolk, Virginia and became an employee with the Merchant Marines for a number of years. He worked for numerous companies until he decided to resume his residency in the state of Maryland where he later met and mar- ried the love of his life Alice Wright on February 14, 2000. James was under the Ministry of Apostle Wilbert Henderson of the Word of God Church. He loved and worshiped God in such a way and he had a dance beyond any other. He was the humblest man anyone could meet and know and always gave an encourag- ing word to others. James lit up every room that he made his presence in. Anyone that knew him knew he loved to eat some pig feet and pig ears. He would ride his bike to any distance to get some Hog. He will greatly be missed by many. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Alice Wright, 2 daughters, Gisselle Wright and Erica Wright. 3 sons James Wright Jr. (wife: Nicole Wright), Aaron Wright (wife: Tasha Wright), and Darrell Wright all of his previous marriage to Mrs. Arlene Thorne. 1 stepdaughter Angie Hurt (husband: Marvin Hurt) 1 stepson Willie Haynes (wife: Lettie Haynes) 2 Brothers Elwood and Ernest Wright, 1 sister Margaret Wright, 2 very special friends Walter and Jimmy. 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a great host of relatives and friends.
