Obituary

Jeffrey Adams son of the late Bernice Slade and Harold Adams was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 8, 1951. God called him home after a lengthy illness. Jeffrey received his education in Baltimore Public Schools. After graduating Southern High School he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged March 1973. Jeff was employed by Coppers/Kaydon Ring & Seal for 37 years until his illness. Jeff who was affectionately known as Ching Chang was a loving guy who was always ready to assist anyone. He made numerous friends wherever he went. He will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. Jeff loved his sports but most of all he loved singing and dancing to the Temptations. He would always say. "Better then some, No worse than others." Jeff was a loving father, a devoted family man and true friend. Jeffrey was proceeded in death by his sister, Olivia Brooks. He leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Antonio and Antwan Conley, two daughters, Tyra and Denetrice Adams, one daughter in-law LaTarsha Conley, nine grandchildren, Yasmine, Tykia, Antonio, Jr., Eric, Ayanna, Antwon, Jr., Davaugh, Darrion and Daman, four great grandchildren, Ian, Tyionna, D'nera and Imani, two brothers, Nicolas Slade and Dwanye Smith, three sisters, Lenora, Tammy and Hope Smith, nieces and nephews, one loving aunt, Ethel Hubbard, one uncle, Edward Johnson and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
