Jeffrey Adrion Alston, Jr. GREG, son of Patricia Simmons and the late Jeffrey Alston Sr., was born on September 6, 1984 in Baltimore, Maryland. He passed away suddenly at University of Maryland Hospital on August 5, 2008. Jeffrey received his education in Baltimore, Maryland and attended school at Southern and Woodlawn High Schools. No one made friends more easily than Jeffrey. Thoughout his life, he was a loving and giving person, not only to family and friends, but all those he met along the way. His smile, his laughter and his fun loving way will always be remembered. He leaves behind; his mother, Patricia Simmons and stepfather, Steve Cousins; five sisters, Shameka, Brittany, J'nae, Jazzmine and Deja; grandmother, Elizabeth Alston; grandfather, Jamal Mubdi-Bey; great-grandmother, Leanna Byrd; five uncles, Michael, John and Larry Alston, Mujahid Veniey and Byron Cannon; three aunts, Kenyatta Cooper, Patricia Fuller, Aliyah and Atiyah Mubdi-Bey; two nephews, Darryl McCray Jr. and Stephan Beatty; four great-aunts, five great-uncles, two godfathers; two goddaughters, Kiersten and Khloe Brooks; a host of cousins, family and friends including a special friend, Shemaiah Johnson; and his South Baltimore family who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
