Psalm 51:1 JEFFREY WAYNE PAYTON, son of the late James and Ruth Payton, Jr., was born September 9, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland. The Lord called him home on Friday, March 18, 2011. Jeff as he was affectionately known by family and friends received his education in Baltimore City Public Schools, and later went to serve a short time in the United States Army. Always a hard worker, he held a variety of jobs, but Mid-Atlantic Banking Co. was where he found great joy working. He remained a dedicated and loyal employee up until the time of his illness. Jeffrey married Rosalind Franklin, and through this union two beautiful daughters were born, Brittany and Bridjette. Jeffrey adored his girls greatly. He was an all around family man and enjoyed taking his family out for seafood dinners and watching sports with his daughters. He was fond of all sports, but he had a love for basketball and a special appreciation for the San Antonio Spurs. "his boys would be in the playoffs!" Jeffrey loved being in the comfort of his home, and enjoyed having family over. He was always entertaining his loved ones at get togethers, cooking and grilling. Jeffrey grew up in a Christian home and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He understood that through Christ, all things are possible. I can do all things through Christ which strenghenth me. Phil. 4:13. Jeffrey will surely missed by all who knew him. He leaves to Mourn: His wife, Rosalind:two daughters, Brittany and Bridjette one son, Jeffrey Jr., preceded him in death; two brothers, Tyrone and Kevin; he shared a special bond with his baby sister, Betty, who cared for him in his final hours when he needed her mosthis oldest sister, Vernonica and younger brother Michael preceded him in death; Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews; and a host of other family and friends; and one special and devoted friend, Maurice Anderson.
