Jenius Larry Daniels, affectionately known as "G", was born on July 15,1981 in Bronx, New York
He was the son of the late Michelle Denise Daniels and Prince Larry Daniels. Jenius departed
this life unexpectantly on June 22, 2022 in Cumberland, Maryland.
Jenius received his formal education in the Baltimore City and Hagerstown Public School
Systems; where he still holds multiple, unbroken basketball records. He tried many times, and
finally earned a General Education Diploma.
His passion for sports extended beyond a personal love for the turf, court, and field to be instilled
in his sons; who are outstanding athletes in football, basketball and track.
Jenius worked several blue-collar jobs in Baltimore and Cumberland; with his latest employer
being Burgmeir's Hauling, Inc. in Cumberland, Maryland; Where he was employed at the time of
his death.
A young adult faith walk started at Greater Gethsemane Baptist Church; where Jenius and his
sister, Princette, were members of the Young Adult Choir.
Jenius was a loving and proud father to all of his children; including his bonus sons and
daughters.
He enjoyed and appreciated the time he spent with each of them. He had a
humanitarian spirit, he was very helpful, and whenever possible he would give back to his
community with a charitable and humble spirit.
Jenius was preceded in death by his parents: Michelle Denise and Prince Larry Daniels. Also
preceding him in death was his bonus son, Saiquan Jenkins (Martia).
He leaves to mourn his death and cherish many happy memories, his grandmother Naomie
Johnson Wainwright; Grandfather Levin Wainwright; two sisters, Nikia Vaughan (Charmon),
Princette Bentilo (Terry); one brother, Prince Larry Daniels, Jr.: his children, Derajay Jenius
Daniels (Kahlisha), Sharon (Sequoya), Jada and Dayshawn (Cherelle), Jabril Jenius, Gamil
Jenius and Serenity (Martia), Cameron and Caleb, Aaric (Tesia), Kamora (Kanisha) and one
grandson, Kayden (Sharon); three aunts, Nivel Conley (Johnnie), Rachelle "Shelly" Waingwright
(Alfonso, Jr.), Nephatia Wainwright, and one uncle, Sharod Wainwright. Also, three nephews.
Anthony; Jr. 'Langston and Dwayne; two nieces, Tori and Cimone; four first cousins, Anthony
"Scotty", April Grace Kelly-Smith, Ashley and Alfonso Delaney, Ill. Mourning also are a host of
other family and friends.
