IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeremiah
Reaves
November 17, 1957 – December 14, 2017
Jeremiah "JR" Reaves, son of the late Reverend Andrew "AJ" Reaves and Kathryn Reaves, was born November 17, 1957, in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life after a brief illness on December 14, 2017, and has gone home to rest peacefully with the Lord.
Jeremiah accepted Christ at an early age at New Mount Hebron Baptist Church.
He attended Baltimore City Public Schools before entering into the United States Army, serving from 1975-1978. He worked various jobs while taking an interest in working on cars, something he had picked up from his brother.
Jeremiah had many hobbies. He enjoyed race cars, pitching horseshoes, singing, shooting pool with his brother, and most of all giving nicknames. He gave names such as Piggy, Puppy, Ice, and High Butt just to name a few. If you knew JR, you knew his trademark was that toothpick in his mouth, and if it wasn't there it was behind his ear. JR leaves behind many great memories and laughter.
Preceding him in death was his loving parents Reverend Andrew "AJ" and Kathryn "Cat" Reaves; his siblings Linda, Matthew "Mackey" and Alvin "Piggy" Reaves.
