JERMAINE DELRON WATKINS was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 3, 1973 to Cynthia Watkins and the late Jerome Watkins, Sr. On January 27, 2020, Jermaine passed away peacefully after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Jermaine was educated in Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from Walbrook High School in 1991. After high school he enlisted in the US Army. He was employed over the years as a machinist for several companies including Kaydon Ring & Seal, BW Paper Systems, and Ward Machinery.

Jermaine developed a very strong bond with his nephew Breon Gannon. When his sister Shavella became pregnant with Breon, Jermaine was so excited that he went out and bought a crib for him, right away! Jermaine had a key role in helping to raise his nephew to be the wonderful young man he became. Breon cherished the time he spent with his uncle. Shortly after Breon's passing, Jermaine began to question his eternal destiny and accepted Christ in 2018.

Jermaine will be warmly remembered for his helpful nature, as well as pleasant smile and spirit, even during challenging times. His hobbies included fixing cars for family members and friends and riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed watching crime and action series like Scarface, and most recently, the Power series.

Jermaine was preceded in death by: his father, Jerome Watkins, Sr., his brother, Derrick Neal, his nephew, Breon Gannon, and his god daughter: Shadera. Jermaine is survived by: his mother, Cynthia Watkins, his brother, Jerome Watkins, Jr. (Michelle), his sister, Shavella Miles, nephews: Jovan, Jerome, Jr, and Little Derrick, and nieces: Jazmine and Denisha, and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
