Jerome Georgie, son of Christine and the late Leo Georgie, was born on November 20, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on Friday, May 25, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Many knew him as "biggie," which he loved to be called because he had a big head. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System, later he attended three years of college. He worked as a Security Officer at Little Sister's of the Poor. Biggie was a very stubborn and opinionated person. Once his mind was set on something on one could talk him out of it, he was going to stick to his point of view to the end. He didn't bite his tongue for anything or anyone. He shared a lot of his experiences with his children and grandchildren. He fought his battle to the last end. He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving mother, Christine Georgie; his father, Leo Georgie and sister, Delcenia preceded him in death; one brother, Willie L. Georgie; his children, Cassandrqa, Gencene, Sean and Sharronn; three granddaughters, LaShay, Sanae and Courtney; three gandsons, Alvin, Keenan and Nate; three great-grandsons, one sister-in-law, Portia; two sons-in-law. one daughter-in-law; and a loving and devoted ex-wife, Zelda and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends whom he truly loved.
