Jerome Thomas Jr., who was affectionately known as ''short-man'' and ''June Boy'' was the son of Jerome and Geraldine Thomas born on Febuar 7, 1952. After fighting a long illness, God called him home on June 1, 2008. Jerome was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. He traveled working all various jobs around the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area. Jerome married the late Janie Thomas who departed this life in May 1998. Up until departure from this life Jerome was a practing Muslim; however he was rooted in the Christian faith and never forget his Christian up bringing. Jerome ''Juneboy'' had a flair for fashion and as the old saying goes, when you saw Jerome he was ''Cleaner than the Board of Health;'' from head to toe. Although Juneboy did not have any biological children he always had a village of nephews, nieces and friend's children surrounding him and going on day trips to the movies, church, local parks, taking pictures or just hanging out having fun. Juneboy made numerous friends wherever he went and will be sincerely be missed by everryone who knew him. Jerome leaves to cherish his memories; his devoted parents Jerome and Geraldine Thomas; sisters, Barbara Cherry John, Marguerite Pate Darryl, Margo Snowden Chester; brother, Michael Thomas; Sharon and George Thomas preceded him in death; ten nieces and nephews; thirteen great nieces and nephews; three aunts and a host of other relatives and friends.
