Jerome Parker, the loving son of Fred and Hannah Parker was born March 8, 1941 in Magnolia, South Carolina. He departed this life December 22, 2007. Jerome moved to Baltimore at a very early age, and received his education in the Baltimore Public School System. He was proficient in many areas. He worked and was skilled in several trades. However, his passion was printing. He worked as a printer in downtown Baltimore for many years. As a young man Jerome was an avid baseball player. He loved the sport and was a very talented player. He received several awards and honors for his efforts. When he wasn't playing himself, he would coach other players and teams teaching them how to improve their games. Jerome also had a passion for music. He was a devoted collector of oldies but goodies, as well as various other periods. Jerome made many friendships during his life, some that lasted the entire course of his lifetime. He was fondly called ''Cigar'' or ''Pops'' by all who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory: his lifetime partner Alice Gray-Parker; five sons, Jerome Jr., Jerry, Tyrone, Brett and Shawn Parker Connie; one adopted son Dexter Jacobs; eight grandchildren, Tyrone, Ezell, Brittany,Takia, Shaniyah, Nijae, Ayanna and Azhane; four step grandchildren, Crystal, ShaKeidra, Keondra, Marcell; one step greatgrandchild DaJohn; one brother Lewis Parker Deana; two aunts, Ruth Alston and Vivian Parker; one sister-in-law Julia Scovens Robert; three brothers-in-law, Timothy Gray Stella, of Danville , Va., Robert Gray Maxine& Ronald Gray Michele; Lucille, Gena & Rosalee Gray of Baltimore, a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and very dear friends.
