IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jerrod G.
Crim, Sr.
July 10, 1987 – January 30, 2020
Jerrod George Crim Sr., son of the late John Henry Crim and Jackie Crim was born on July 10, 1987 in Baltimore, MD. He was "taken" from us on January 30, 202. Despite the circumstances of his death, he is reunited with his loving father in the afterlife.
Jerrod attended Baltimore City Public Schools, and later obtained his GED from the Center for Urban Families. He was employed at various businesses as a warehouse professional. Jerrod was affectionately known as "Sam" to his family. His mom called him "Hollering Sam" and his cousins called him Sam, the male version of "Sally" from the back alley. As a small kid , Sam played basketball in the "Big Alley" on a crate for hours at a time. He was known by his friends as Oohwee. He obtained that nickname as a small child when he would make the sound "Oohwee" out of the window as he would warn the older kids in the neighborhood when "someone" was coming.
Although, he found ways to drive his mother cray, he found more ways to make her smile. He also adored his big brother Jamahl and could be found harassing Jamahl's girls daily. There was no end to the love and laughter he poured into us all.
He loved everyone and enjoyed spending all of his time with family and friends. He was the family prankster and was the little brother that never grew up. He was so many things to so many people. The designated family babysitter to his little cousins and nieces. He was the mover for the family "Gypsies". He was the helper, handyman, dog whisperer, lunch buddy, shopping partner, and house sitter that always made time to assist his family. He had a special bond with all of his female cousins and became the designated little brother to all of them.
All of the babysitting and caregiving Jerrod provided for his family came in handy for parenthood. Recently, Jerrod became a Dad. His son Junior, was the pride and joy of his life. Nothing was more important than being a great dad to his baby boy. He did it all, doctor's appointments, field trips, daycare drop-off's and pick-up's, and family fun time. Jr. Loved his daddy.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Jackie Crim, his son Jerrod Jr., his brother Jamahl Crim Sr., and Sister-in-law Kia, two nieces, Jakia and Jamierra, one nephew who proceeds his in death, Jamahl Jr., and a host of loving relatives and a special friend, Shantel Stevens.
