In Loving Memory of a Life Well Lived



Co-Pastor, Elder Jessie Mae Singleton, born May 27th, 1954 in Conway, SC to the late Dorothy Bowens Spivey and Jessie Morgan. God went to the rose garden on



January 13th, 2021 and choose his flower. She was educated by the Horry County public schools, attending Conway Elementary and graduating from Conway-Whittemore High School in 1970. Jessie Mae began her walk with Christ in the year of 1980, she joined Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church on Eutaw Street in Baltimore, MD, under Bishop Jessie A. Horn. In 1988 she joined Baltimore Tabernacle of Prayer under Pastor Benjamin Brown and Bishop Nathaniel Edwards. Jessie was lovingly known as "J.B" to family and friends; "Lady Bug" to her daughter Kischa. She met her playground sweetheart Roosevelt Singleton, Jr. in 7th grade. They were married on December 21st, 1973; and out of that union she welcomed her first born son Terrell, she was blessed with two beautiful daughters Kischa Tarice and Melissa and her miracle baby Joshua. She was a devoted wife and mother; they are the most important people in her life. Jessie was a people person with a witty sense of humor, she loved helping others. She enjoyed shopping for shoes and hats and her husband would say "She's always spending all my money". She loved travelling and embraced the finer things in life. She has a nurturing spirit, ministering the word of God and praying ushering in the spirit wherever she goes. She leaves to cherish loving memories and will be deeply missed by her husband Roosevelt Singleton, her son Terrell and his children Jessica, Terrell Jr and Promyse. Daughter of Joshua Kyara; Joshua (Diane) and their children Deaja, Destiny and Joshua Jr. Her daughters Kischa and her son Caleb and Melissa and host of grand and great grandchildren; ten sisters, Diane Bowens, Shirley Days, Dorothy Grissett, Patricia Friday, Julie Miller, Sharon Bellamy, Lorraine Lawrence, Renee Bass, and Patricia Hunt, all of Conway, SC. Margaret Ann Morgan, Charleston, SC; four brothers Frankie Bowens, Jesse Morgan, Allen White all of Conway, SC; Joe Morgan, Jacksonville, NC. Out of marriage she inherited in-laws; Roosevelt and Betty Jo Singleton, Pam Bethea, Patricia Jenerette, Richard Singleton, Bobbie Joe Singleton, Brenda Lee Singleton and Jerome Singleton of Conway, SC, with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She leaves her special sister in Christ Pastor Goldie Whitehead.



Jessie was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Bowen and father Jessie Morgan, sister(s) Dorothy Grissett, Shirley Days, Patricia Friday and son Terrell Singleton and her daughter Melissa.
