Joan Roberta Allen daughter of the late Sheila Ann Allen was born August 5, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life suddenly on July 15,2017.

Joan received her education in the Baltimore City Public School. She graduated from Douglass High School in 1984.

She was raised by her aunt after the death of her mother.

Joan had one son, Stephen C. Allen.

She worked as a Para Educator for Personal Touch.

Joan was a member of Simmons Memorial Baptist Church.

Joan leaves to mourn: her son, Stephen C. Allen; one sister, Ann B. Allen; one brother, Kirk C. Allen; Pepper the dog, Pebbles, Kitty Grey, Screaming J Hawking and Monster the cats and her mother, Beverly J. Allen.
