On Friday, June 17, 2016, at her residence, God silently called one of
his children, Joan Lindora Chapman. She was born on March 29, 1937
in Havre de Grace , Maryland to the late John Dennison and Beatrice
Burnham.

Joan was married to the late Louis Br y ant Chapman, and from this
union one daughter, Tanya Chapman and three sons , Orlando Winfred
Chapman , Barry Norman Chapman and Louis Bryant Chapman Jr. She
was remarried to the late Clifton M . Patterson and from this union one
daughter, Evinus Lindora Patterson was born, son-in-law , Edward
Morales.

She wa s educated in Baltimore , Maryland . She then went to work for
Charles Hickey School for Bo y s where she then retired .

Joan became a member of Pimlico First Baptist Church in 2001 , until
she became ill.

She was preceded in death by her two sons, Orlando Chapman and
Louis Chapman.

Joan leaves to cherish her m e mor y: two daughters , Tan y a Chapman
and Evinus Patterson ; one son , Barr y Chapman ; five grands, Latasha,
Korine , Orlando, Traquan and Devine ; twelve great-grands, two sis-
ters , and a host of cousins, nie c es , nephews, and friend s .
