Obituary

JoAnn King entered this world on May 11, 1965 in Baltimore MD she was the eldest daughter of Barbara King and the

late James Leo King. JoAnn grew up as the big sister to her younger siblings right here in the heart of Edmondson

Villiage. She attended school right here in Maryland starting with Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, Rockglen

Middle then on to Edmondson West Side High School where she earned the nickname Skinny from her classmates,

but her family and close friends called Via.

She started working at and early age from babysitting to cleaning out airplanes for BWI airport becoming a Security

Guard for Watkins Security company in which she truly enjoyed. She was a phenomenal women, and mother of 7

children at that time, whom she loved so deeply and tried her best each and everyday for. Joann introduced her first

born into this world, Pierre Crippin known as Herb who she adored so much and gave him the nickname Old Man

because he acted just like one even to this day!! Shortly after, her princess was born Tynia Williams known as Muffy

who stayed glued to her side. Her sidekick, partner in crime, and bestfriend . Not long after that her own little family

began to grow and grow and grow especially when she delivered an almost 10lb baby boy named Terrance France,

whom she called him Country REDDS, her Lill Man at that time (101). Then our family grew even bigger with more

siblings that she loved so much with every bone in her body a total of 9 and one stepson. She loved hanging out

with her children, just reminsing about old times.

Via enjoyed cooking, cleaning, talking, taking pictures, being on Facebook, and encourging other people. She enjoyed

listening to music on 95.5, teddy bears, and loved talking about sports. Her favorite color was purple. She adored her

family and friends and would split her last with you. Everybody she came across fell in love with her. Those beautiful

hazel brown eyes and that beautiful smile could and would light a room up. She became Mrs. JoAnn King-France to

Freddrick France in 2014 after being together over 30 plus years through the good the bad and in between but later

seperated but remained good friends.

JoAnn King will be truly missed and leaves to cherish and celebrate her memory, eldest son Pierre Crippin, daughter
