Jocephus Parker was the son of the late Mrs. Lillie Mae Parker. He departed his life suddenly with a brief illness on April 29, 2015. Born as Jocephus, but he affectionately liked to be called Joe Parker or Big Joe. He received his education in Raleigh, North Carolina and came to Baltimore at an early age. He became a cementfinisher. He had numerous jobs pulling concrete that was his trade. He liked to make jokes wherever he went. Also had a beautiful smile that lit Sylva Jean and Vernellfire. His best friends was Lo and Lil Joe. Joe Parker leaves to cherish fond memories: his wife, Vernell Parker; his children, Joe Parker, Candy, Pennie, Joseph, Saundra, Jean, Shawn, Danyelle and one son preceded him in death, David Lee; one daughter- in-law, Taunya; two sisters-in-law, Leotha and Patricia and two brothers-in-law, Merdith Lee and John Mitchell; twenty five grand kids, thirty great grands and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and a devoted friend, Ms. Linda.
