JOE ROGERS EDWARDS, son of the late Grant Edwards St. and Anniebell

Edwards, was born in Grifton, North Carolina on August 5, 1944. He

departed this life on March 3, 2022.

Joe was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and graduated

from Carver Vocational-Technical High School. He was a hard worker

and always kept a job. While attending high school, he worked at Wyman

Drugstore. After graduation, he enlisted in the U. S. Army where he served

for twenty-five years before being honorably discharged. After he returned

from the army, he worked at Lenny's Cut Rate.

Joe liked to visit different churches. His hobbies were listening to music and

dancing.

Joe leaves to mourn: his siblings - brother, Willie Edwards and sisters, Inez

Jacobs (Donald), Ruby Carter (Warner), and Yvonne Edwards; his nieces,

Sharon Watts and Danielle Reed (Colin); and friends, Velma Horton and

Pandora Tate. Special thanks is given to his sisters Inez Jacobs and Ruby

Carter for providing the many years of care. Joe loved all his family, and he

will be greatly missed.
